Account & data deletion

For the mobile app and web app The Shield & Scout by SHARP4IT (package com.sports.shar4it). Last updated: 17 July 2026.

Fastest way: delete your account inside the app (self-service).

Open The Shield & Scout and sign in.
Open the side menu (or Settings).
Tap Delete account.
Confirm with your password.

Your account is then permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email (if you cannot use the app)

Send an email to:

support@sharp4it.com

Include:

The email address used to register
Your full name
The subject line: Account deletion request – Shield & Scout

We will verify ownership of the account and process the request. Typical completion time: within 30 days of verification (often sooner).

What is deleted

Your user account and login credentials
Personal profile information (name, email, profile photo, preferences)
Device tokens and session data tied to your account
Personal content you created that is not required for another user’s records (e.g. your private notes)

What may be retained (and for how long)

Club / team operational records created under an academy or club (e.g. attendance, invoices, shared analyses linked to a club roster) may be retained by that club under their own policies and applicable law. Ask your club administrator if you need those records removed from the club’s side.
Legal / security logs needed for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance may be kept for a limited period (typically up to 90 days, or longer if required by law).
Backups may retain residual copies for a short rolling window until they are overwritten.

Partial data deletion (without deleting the account)

You can update or remove some profile fields in the app, revoke camera / microphone / Health Connect permissions in device settings, and delete uploaded media where the product allows. For broader erasure without closing the account, email support@sharp4it.com describing what you want removed.
